Sample Elopement Package - Elope in Costa Rica

This is a sample elopement package for an 8 day / 7 night Elopement Package. Typically trips we plan go from 8 – 14 days but our trips are very flexible and can be for any length of time you desire. In this sample trip we will visit 2 well known areas that are full of nature, fun, romance and adventure!

Day 1 ~ Arrival

Private Transfer to Manuel Antonio – Your private transfer will be waiting for you just outside the airport. Off to the famous Manuel Antonio Park, home to some of our most beautiful beaches and the perfect start to your elopement adventure!
Scenic Stop – On the way to the Pacific coast we will stop at the Tarcoles River Bridge, home to crocodiles, Scarlet Macaws, and nice stop to stretch your legs before hitting the coast.
Check in Arenas del Mar – Suite – One of several hotel options. Depending on your budget, we will find the right option for you.

Day 2 ~ Manuel Antonio – (B)

Morning Breakfast – After a delicious breakfast you are off to explore the national park.
Manuel Antonio Park Tour – Your guide will pick you up at your hotel. On the hike he will educate you on the history of the park and the residents that call it home. Capuchin monkeys, Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, as well as ant eaters, sloths, guaranteed wildlife viewing! After the hike take a swim in the cool waters and bask on the beach. The Day is yours to explore.

Day 3 ~ Manuel Antonio – The Wedding Day – (B,L,D)

There are many variables when it comes to the wedding day. Some couples want to unwind in the morning with a massage, some might want to have a private breakfast or just walk on the beach. We will plan every aspect as you want your day to unfold.

Sample Time Schedule

8am – 9am – Room Service – Gourmet Breakfast served to you in your suite
9am – 11am – Free Time – Time to relax and think about the coming day
11am – 1 Hour Couples Massage – This is a great way to release any stress
Noon – 1pm – Light lunch
1pm-3:00pm Free Time
3:00pm – Hair & Makeup – We usually allocate an hour to this but it can be adjusted as needed.
4:00pm – Pre-Marriage Photos – Some photos of the couple before the nuptials
5:30 pm Sunset Wedding Ceremony – Many of our clients like the idea of getting married on the beach, 5:30pm is a good time to start to have the perfect sunset as you take your vows.
6:00 pm – Photos – Now that you are married it is time for another photo session to finish out the evenings ceremony.
7:30 pm – Private Candlelight Dinner on the Beach – Chefs Table – A perfect ending to a prefect evening. No stress, with the one you love, nothing is more romantic.

Note: There are a lot of ways to plan through this day, this is a fairly relaxed schedule with plenty of free time throughout the day.

Day 4 ~ Manuel Antonio – (B, Gourmet chef tasting,L)

Rainforest Spices – Vanilla Spice Plantation Tour w/ gourmet chef tasting – Villa Vanilla Spice Plantation is a sustainable organic spice farm in Costa Rica. Certified organic and biodynamic and grow a variety of spices and essential oil plants, including vanilla, cocoa, and Ceylon (true) cinnamon. The tour is a gentle walk through the plantation and is very sensory, along our unique Epiphyte (air plant) and Rock Garden Trail. The “Flavors of the World” tasting menu features the world’s three favorite flavors – vanilla, chocolate and Ceylon cinnamon -, among other spices and seasonal tropical fruits at our Rainforest Viewpoint. There visitors enjoy an assortment of gourmet spice treats all grown on the plantation and prepared by our staff pastry chef, which has added to the uniqueness of the tour.
Catamaran Sailing, Snorkeling, Whale & Dolphin Tour – The tour is a truly amazing trip for nature lovers who will enjoy not only the experience itself, but the breathtaking Pacific Ocean and coastline. Humpback whales and dolphins, as well as other beautiful marine life can be witnessed on our catamaran tour. On board we offer an excellent variety of snacks and natural drinks. If conditions permit we will be making stops to snorkel.

Day 5 ~ Manuel Antonio ~ Arenal Volcano

White Water Rafting Transfer to Arenal – Balsa River class 2-3 – The best way to get to Arenal? Rafting on the way! Challenge yourself as you paddle through fun & safe rolling rapids with names like “Morning Coffee” & “Rock around the Croc” and then play around in tranquil river pools in an isolated rainforest river canyon! And only 30 minutes from La Fortuna! Your professional, experienced bilingual guides will give you a safety talk and paddling instruction, lifejackets, helmets & then you’re off. Hopefully you’ll get to see lots of wildlife like monkeys, sloths and tropical birds such as ospreys, oropendolas and toucans. This unique river trip is the best way to combine adventure and nature. Day 6 ~ Arenal

Sky Adventures Combo Tour – Hanging Bridges /Aerial Tram / Zipline Canopy Tour- Traverse the cloud forest by way of hanging bridges. You will learn much about this amazing ecosystem as you enjoy a treetop view. Next comes the zipline canopy tour! Sky Trek starts with a tour in the Sky Tram to reach the top of the Arenal reserve, then begins a tour of adventure full of adrenaline above the treetops, which consists on a system of zip lines, that allows you to observe the rainforest and its landscape from a different perspective, safely in an innovative and different system. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 1.7 miles with distances from 100 to 2460 feet, and with a maximum height of 660 feet, which exceed the treetops providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake.
Tabacon Thermal Springs – Tabacon has without doubt the best hot springs in the Arenal area. The number of pools, temperatures, and landscaping make this our top choice to relax and unwind.
